About Me!
My name is Sandra Felix. I am the owner of Elite Litigation Support.
I have been working within the industry since March 2006. I began as a data entry clerk and quickly moved to Service of Process Coordinator. My experience began at an extremely high volume attorney service whose focus was Civil Litigation, majority of the intake was unpaid credit card debt.
Following that tenure, I worked for a very small attorney service whose focus was Unlawful Detainers. Due to the size of the company, my learning bank was filled daily. I was able to truly learn the importance and the intricacies surrounding Proofs of Service. I learned the specific process for Unlawful Detainers and saw cases from serving the Notice to Quit, filing and service of the lawsuit, through many cases moving to hearings. I was also involved with assisting the Sheriff's with the physical eviction process.
I was then able to collaborate with a company in Florida whose focus was also Unlawful Detainers. Florida law requires(ed) that the owners and/or anyone associated with the property, including banks, also be hand served. Many Florida homeowners are residents in California. I became very familiar with out of state Affidavits and the detailed requirements specifically relating to out of state service of process codes, as they rarely match with California's CCP Codes. Regular interaction with out of state colleagues educated me on having a more tangible and specific understanding of our position in this industry.
Through these years I also executed field duties as a Process Server, diving into CCP Codes and the dialect of a Process Server to be a more productive assistant within my office tasks. At this point in my career, I spent many years as a full-time Process Server. I covered all of Los Angeles County. I was working 6 days a week with overflowing hours. I served many types of documents and preparing my Proofs of Service. I had hands on experience with Small Claims, Civil Litigation (injury, wrongful termination, credit card debt, sexual assault, etc.), Restraining Orders, Family Law, Bank Levies and Wage Garnishments. I saw these functions from receipt to completing the entire process.
I was found by a company in 2014. They requested I join the team full time and work hand in hand with the Operations Manager at the time. I was not ready to leave my full-time Process Server position and I began this experience carrying the hours 5a-10a with them. I would prepare their Proofs of Service and monitor the status on Service of Process and Filings. I quickly became emotionally involved with the position and joined the team full-time in June 2014. June of 2015 the Operations Manager who I worked hand in hand with began a leave of absence. I was thrown into his position. We were a child company to a large scale logistics operation. The range of employees who knew our specific industry was scarce within the company. I did the majority of my learning with those patient clients, hands on. I learned very quickly, with minimal mistakes. I served as the Legal Department Manager just short of 9 years.
In March 2024 I made the very difficult and best decision to begin my individual venture. My experience in the industry has allowed me the space, time and hands on learning necessary to be successful today. I am grateful, every day, for each and every opportunity that has crossed, does cross and will cross my path. I am grateful for my commitment to continuing learning and absorbing the legalities of our positions. I hold tremendous gratitude to the many different people who have taken the time to "show me the ropes". Through those moments I have been able to create my exceptional definition of a company. A family oriented feeling working with my clients and field agents with personal and genuine connections. We make the daily effort to pride ourselves in honesty, punctuality, hard work and dedication.
As we move forward, we plan to continue our customer service model, as best fits your office, and provide an environment where your office is polished, working as a team towards our common goals.
